Jennifer graduated from James Madison University with a business degree in Computer Information Systems in 2002. After several years of working in the IT consulting world, she decided to throw caution to the wind and move to Chicago to attend Harrington College of Design. There she pursued her true passion—interior design. After graduation in 2008, Jennifer promptly moved to New York to immerse herself in the design world. With the recession looming, things didn't go quite as planned. She decided to take matters into her own hands—thus, Nook was born!
In her spare time, Jennifer plays on a co-ed soccer league in Brooklyn and is a proud fan of Dancing with the Stars.
